Concept

The project reimagines the traditional Asian supermarket as a vibrant contemporary marketplace, bringing together fresh food, cultural discovery, and an engaging retail experience. Inspired by the energy of Asian street markets, the design combines an industrial architectural framework with bold graphics, colorful signage, and dynamic lighting.

Distinctive retail zones, from fresh produce and seafood to specialty groceries and Asian street food, create an immersive shopping environment that balances functionality, cultural expression, and modern urban energy.

Design Approach

A Contemporary Asian Market Identity

Asian street-market influences are reinterpreted through neon signage, multilingual graphics, and vibrant color contrasts, establishing a distinctive and energetic retail identity.

Intuitive Spatial Planning

Clearly defined retail zones, organized display systems, and integrated wayfinding create a seamless shopping journey, balancing visual engagement with operational efficiency.

Industrial Aesthetics & Experiential Retail

Exposed ceiling systems, contemporary lighting, colorful installations, and customized retail fixtures bring together industrial character and playful cultural expression, transforming everyday grocery shopping into an engaging experience.
