FF&E / Styling
5,000 sqm
Located in Qujiang New District, Xi’an, this 5,000-square-meter project brings together architecture, landscape, interior design, and soft furnishing into a unified spatial experience.
IAID was responsible for the soft furnishing design, creating a complete FF&E and styling strategy for the project. Through furniture selection, textile coordination, decorative elements, and material layering, the design establishes a calm and refined atmosphere while maintaining continuity with the architectural and interior language.
The project emphasizes understated luxury through texture, proportion, and material composition, creating spaces that feel warm, balanced, and timeless.
The soft furnishing strategy focuses on balancing the architectural clarity of the space with a more intimate and human-centered experience. Carefully selected materials and furniture compositions soften the scale of the architecture while reinforcing its refined visual language.
Rather than creating luxury through decorative excess, the design uses material quality and subtle layering to shape the atmosphere. Neutral tones, tactile fabrics, and carefully curated details create a calm and timeless spatial experience.
Furniture layouts and styling elements were developed in response to framed landscape views and natural light conditions. Interior elements become part of a larger visual sequence, establishing continuity between architecture, landscape, and human activity.
